DELIVERY POLICY

All orders are subject to product availability. If an item is not in stock at the time you place your order, we will notify you and refund you the price of the item, the applicable shipping, and applicable taxes, using the original method of payment. In the event of partial orders, Islander will ship the in-stock items and remove any out-of-stock items from your order.

Unless there are exceptional circumstances, we make every effort to fulfill your order within 2 business days of the date of your order. Business day means Monday to Friday, except holidays.

Delivery dates are estimates and commence from the date of shipping, rather than the date of order. Delivery dates are to be used as a guide only and are subject to the acceptance and approval of your order. The date of delivery may vary due to carrier shipping practices, delivery location, method of delivery, and the items ordered. Products may also be delivered in separate shipments.

Shipping costs are based on the weight of your order and the delivery method. This cost also includes full or partial costs of handling and shipping supplies required to fulfill the order. To find out how much your order will cost, simply add the items you would like to purchase to your cart and use the shipping and taxes estimator.

Sales tax is charged according to the province or territory to which the item is shipped.

RETURN POLICY

All returns must be authorized within 30 days of delivery. Returns must be in “new and unused” condition. Items meeting these conditions will receive a full refund on the original form of payment. The purchaser is responsible for all return shipping charges.

Only regular-priced items may be returned. Sale items and engraved reels are final sale.

Refunds do not include any shipping and handling charges shown on the packaging slip or invoice. Shipping charges for all returns must be prepaid by you. You are responsible for any loss or damage to goods during shipment, it is up to your discretion whether you want to insure your return. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Any amounts refunded will not include the cost of shipping.

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

For non-Canadian returns, please clearly mark all customs documentation and the outside of your package with:
“Made in Canada Goods Returning”
This ensures your package clears customs smoothly and avoids unnecessary duties or delays.

SHIPPING CARRIER REQUIREMENTS

All return shipments must be prepaid via Canada Post or US Postal Service. Please avoid using UPS or FedEx to return items to Islander. Any additional brokerage or handling fees incurred from using these carriers will be charged back to the customer.

EXCHANGE POLICY

We’re happy to offer exchanges on eligible items. To initiate an exchange, please email us at info@islander.com with your order number, the reason for the exchange, and the item and size you’d like in return (if applicable). Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

If you believe your item is defective, reach out to us at info@islander.com to open a case. Our team will guide you through the next steps, including whether return shipping will be covered based on the nature of the issue.

REFUND PROCESSING TIME

Once we receive your return, please allow up to 5 business days for your refund to be processed to your original form of payment.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Orders can be canceled at any time prior to the shipping of your order. To cancel your order, call Islander as soon as you can during business hours. Orders that have already been shipped can not be canceled.
