Islander Reels is fortunate to have Jeff Pierce as a member of our Pro-Staff

Jeff, aka Dr. Fish, is the Sales Manager for O. Mustad And Son-USA Partridge of Redditch hooks. He is also the saltwater co-host for The New Fly Fisher television show. In 2004 Jeff was honored by the Federation of Fly Fishers with the Silver King Award in recognition of his efforts in promoting saltwater fly fishing.

Jeff spends as much time as possible in locations around the world targeting as many species as possible on the fly.Jeff is an accomplished fly tier and designer and even finds some time to do some writing and photography.As a Pro-staffer for Islander, Jeff has the opportunity to test the reels in situations and on species that we never thought possible. His feedback on the performance of the reels is invaluable.
